nowadays , there are more and more misunderstanding between parents and children which is so- called generation gap . it is estimated that (75 percentages of parents often complain their children‘s unreasonable behavior while children usually think their parents too old fashioned).

why have there been so much misunderstanding between parents and children?maybe the reasons can be listed as follows . the first one is that ( the two generations, having grown up at different times, have different likes and dislikes ,thus the disagreement often rises between them) . besides(due to having little in common to talk about , they are not willing to sit face to face ) . the third reason is (with the pace of modern life becoming faster and faster , both of them are so busy with their work or study that they don‘t spare enough time to exchange ideas ) sum up ,the main cause of xx is due to ( lake of communication and understanding each other) .

it is high time that something were done upon it. for one thing (children should respect their parents ) the other hand ,( parents also should show solicitue for their children). all these measures will certainly bridge the generation gap .

should college students live alone off campus or living with roommates on campus?

should college students live alone off campus or living with roommates on campus?

as adults, college students are responsible individuals capable of sensible and independent judgments and decisions。 living on or off campus is really a matter of personal choice and different students can make their decisions that best accord with their individual needs。

over the years, as many chinese families become financially well—off, they can afford their sons and daughters better—equipped apartments off campus。 in the rented accommodation, a student enjoys greater personal freedoma more tranquil environment in which they can concentrate on their studies and greater privacy with which they can associate with their friends, including their boyfriends or girlfriends。 those are all unalienable human rights guaranteed by the constitution。 as long as those students behave within legal boundaries and their off—campus life does not affect their academic performance as students, there is no reason why college students should not live off campus。

however, living off campus does pose problems。 a student living alone may incur greater personal risks。 with less time to mix with classmates, he or she will be less competent as a team player。 having to spend much time traveling to the campus, the student will have serious challenges to be punctual for classes。 finally, without their independent income, most students will certainly increase financial burdens on their parents。 therefore, any students with serious intentions to live off campus should really have serious thoughts about those issues before they actually make their choices。

第4篇

should graduates spend much on job hunting? nowadays college graduates spend more and more money on job hunting. according to a recent survey, almost every graduate spends some money on finding a job. and clothing, transportation, resumes producing and training expense are the main aspects that cost them a lot of money.

as to this phenomenon, different people have different views. some say it is necessary for graduates to spend money in producing embellished resumes and buying suitable clothes, which can give interviewers a good impression and increase their chance of success. however, others dont think so. they argue that the high expenditure can increase their parents financial burden since most students have no regular income. apart from that, the decorated resumes do little help to find a job because most hr managers pay more attention to skills.

in my opinion, there is nothing wrong for graduates to invest some money on job hunting. but they should bear in mind that it is their knowledge, skills as well as experience that matter a lot. so they must have a rational attitude toward what they should buy and how much money they should spend.
